action

Charlie Le Blanc is a millionaire who lives in New Orleans and is married to the much younger Lilly. He learns that he will soon die.

Le Blanc wants to convince himself that his wife is loyal to him. He offers Jimmy Mulate money to seduce Lilly. Jimmy first declines the offer, then he agrees. Lilly resists the young man at first, after being initiated by Le Blanc's secretary, she goes to bed with him. Jimmy falls in love with her and lies to his employer that there was no adultery. Since he had his wife monitored at the same time, he realizes that she has cheated on him and forces Jimmy to kill her.

When Charlie and Lilly go for a walk together, Charlie is shot by a masked man. Lilly pulls a gun from her pocket and shoots the killer. The police accuse her of hesitating to shoot, which cost her husband his life. Since the murderer is Jimmy's friend, who is carrying out the murder in his place, Jimmy is aware that Lilly wanted to kill him.

There is a videotape of the recorded conversation between Lilly and Jimmy, in which Lilly talks about killing her husband. It is owned by Jimmy, whom Lilly offers half a million dollars for the tape. Jimmy turns to the police. He meets with Lilly to exchange the ribbon for the money. At that moment, Le Blanc's Adlatus Dot appears and shoots them, but misses both. Since Jimmy is working with the police who are overseeing the meeting, Dot is shot dead and Lilly is arrested by the police.
