Michael Bell (full name Michael Patrick Bell ; born April 10, 1938 in Brooklyn , New York City , New York ) is an American actor and voice actor .

Life

Michael Bell has acted as a voice actor in several video games and animated series, including The Transformers , Rugrats and The Smurfs . He also worked in films and television series such as Dallas and Star Trek . According to the Internet Movie Database, Bell is considered "one of the most prominent speakers of the 1980s". Both his wife Victoria Carroll and daughter Ashley Bell are actresses.

After Bell had guest appearances in many US series and films, he worked almost exclusively as a voice actor for computer games and lent his voice to many cartoon characters. Since he has a lot of speaking roles, he is set to music by several different German voice actors.
