Hardy Schwetter
Hardy Schwetter (born April 24, 1971 in Georgsmarienhütte ) is a German musician and actor . He works as an entertainer under the stage name Christian Steiffen . He lives in Osnabrück .
Career
From 1993 to 1995 Schwetter completed his acting training at the Lee Strasberg Theater School in New York .
From 2001 to 2010 Schwetter was the frontman of a seven-piece Elvis tribute band. From this he developed his first fictional character Reverend Hardy Hardon with his "Church Of Elvis" in 2007 on the occasion of the 97th German Catholic Convention.
Since 2009 Schwetter is active nationwide as pop singer Christian Steiffen. On October 11, 2013, Warner Music Group released his album Arbeiter der Liebe . The song Sexualverkehr from this album is used in the homeland thriller Winter Potato Dumplings , from the crime film series Ein Eberhoferkrimi, to accompany a funny and frivolous film compilation that begins with a pub scene. In the movie I feel disco , which was shown at the 2014 Berlinale , he plays himself as an adored pop singer.
Schwetter hit the headlines in 2013 when he ran for the office of Lord Mayor of Osnabrück under his stage name and received 3.3 percent of the vote.
In October 2015 the second Christian Steiffen album Ferien vom Rock 'n' Roll was released . The song You and I from this album is recorded in the credits in the local crime thriller Grießnockerlaffäre , from the crime film series Ein Eberhoferkrimi . In the fifth part of the series, Sauerkrautkoma , he had an appearance with the song I bought you the moon . Schwetter also starred in the film Alki Alki by director Axel Ranisch , which was shown as the opening film at the Independent Film Festival Osnabrück . In the so far last homeland thriller Leberkäsjunkie of the Eberhofer series, he plays alongside Sebastian Bezzel the leader of a self-help group for sex addicts.
