Angelo Colagrossi (born March 19, 1960 in Rome ) is an Italian writer and director .

Life

Colagrossi has lived in Germany since 1989 ; In 1992 he shot his first feature film, No Pardon , as a writer and co-director . From 1993 to 1996 he was the producer and writer of several TV comedy series. As a co-author, he wrote the comedy series Total normal together with Achim Hagemann and Hape Kerkeling , which received numerous awards. In 1998 Angelo Colagrossi wrote the screenplay and directed the ARD television film Die Oma ist tot . In 2001 he produced the movie Alles Because Paul , he wrote the screenplay for it and also directed it. As a co-producer and director, he shot the feature film Samba in Mettmann in 2004 . Together with Hape Kerkeling and Angelina Maccarone he is co-author of the radio play Ein Mann ein Fjord . For the film adaptation of A Man, a Fjord! he wrote the script, was a producer and directed. In August 2009 the film Horst Schlämmer - Isch kandidiere! in German cinemas, where Colagrossi co-wrote the script, directed and also produced. On December 17, 2010, RTL broadcast the show Hapes Magical Christmas , in which Colagrossi worked as a producer and author, and for this received the 2011 German Comedy Prize . In 2012, as a co-producer for Turkish for Beginners , he received the German Comedy Prize 2012 . In 2013 he wrote and produced the audiobook and the film Love Is Not Important .

His book Mr. Blunagalli hat no humor was published in 2009 by Rowohlt Verlag. In 2011 he published his novel Potatoes al dente with Langenscheidt Verlag. In March 2017 his book Mr. Blunagalli on a big cruise was published by the Münchner Verlagsgruppe GmbH .

Colagrossi lived with Hape Kerkeling in Düsseldorf and Berlin for decades until they separated in March 2011.
