Raymond Albert "Ray" Romano (born December 21, 1957 in Queens , New York ) is an American actor and comedian of Italian descent.

Life

Romano was best known in Germany for his portrayal of the title role in the television series Alle liebe Raymond , which he co-produced and which made him the highest-paid television actor of all time in 2004 with an annual salary of fifty million US dollars . In 2001, he was first on the list of top twenty and entertainers performed, done annually by the US - cable operators E! Entertainment television .
