Get Shorty is an American television series that premiered on Epix on August 13, 2017 . It is an adaptation of the original book of the same name, Get Shorty , in the German Schnaps Shorty , by Elmore Leonard and its film adaptation from 1995. The series has been extended by a second season, which again includes ten episodes like the first. It was broadcast in the USA from August 12, 2018. The third season has now been shot, which comprises seven episodes and was broadcast from October 2019.
The German-language version of the first season was first published on EntertainTV series on February 1, 2018 . All three seasons are now available on MagentaTV , Deutsche Telekom's streaming service .

The series is about Miles Daly who works for a criminal organization in Nevada . For the sake of his daughter Emma, he tries to change jobs and become a film producer, thereby laundering money through a Hollywood film . But instead of leaving the criminal world behind, he brings it to Los Angeles by chance . Daly eventually works with Rick, a failed, poor quality film producer who becomes his partner and navigates the " Hollywood Labyrinth ."
