Björn Landsberg , civic Kevin Bjorn Wolfgang Kraus (* 21st January 1980 in West Berlin ) is a German voice actor , actor , musical singer and pop singer.

Life

Kevin Kraus, son of a Berlin teacher and born in Berlin-Reinickendorf , graduated from Humboldt-Gymnasium Berlin-Tegel in 1999. In his childhood he received piano, guitar and singing lessons. His father used to play in a rock band. After his military service, Kraus met the songwriter Norbert Hammerschmidt through the racing driver Kurt "Kutte" Klein , was discovered by the Warner / Chappell Music publishing house and took professional singing lessons. He studied acting and singing at the International Network of Actors in Berlin in 2003/04 and at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City in 2004/05 . At the same time, he completed a stage combat training in the United States with J. Allen Suddeth in 2004/05 .

In 2001 he took part under his first name Kevin with the title Playin 'on my mind in the German preliminary round for the Grand Prix d'Eurovision de la Chanson in the Preussag Arena in Hanover, where he finished 11th. From 2005 to 2007 he played “Gaston” in Beauty and the Beast at the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen and in 2007 at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin (director: Glenn Casale ). In the Disney musical Tarzan he sang the role of the silver back "Kerchak" (director: Jeff Lee ) at the Neue Flora Theater in Hamburg from 2009 to 2011 .

Kevin Kraus has taken on numerous speaking roles in film and television productions. As a performer, he was also seen in television series. He is a member of the Federal Drama Association and the voice actors' association.

About the choice of his current artist pseudonym he writes on his website: “My name is Kevin BJÖRN Wolfgang. I come from the COUNTRY and I am a MOUNTAIN. ”He is 1.96 m tall.
