Yael Stone (born March 6, 1985 in Sydney ) is an Australian actress . She has appeared in several Australian theater productions. Outside the theater is your most well-known role of Lorna Morello in Netflix - web series Orange Is the New Black .

Life

Yael Stone grew up in Sydney. Here she attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and the National Institute of Dramatic Art . Her brother, Jake Stone is the lead singer of the band Bluejuice. Your sister Elana Stone is also a musician. Stone was married to Australian actor Dan Spielman from 2012 to 2016 .

Career

Stone started acting in her childhood. Here she had roles in the movie My Life in Two Ways and in the miniseries The Farm . After that she has mainly appeared in Australian plays.

In 2008 she won awards for Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress at the Sydney Theater Awards.

In December 2011 Stone moved to New York City . Here it was for Netflix - web series Orange Is the New Black won.
