Demydow ( Ukrainian Демидів , Russian Демидов Demidow ) is one of the oldest villages in Ukraine and has about 3700 inhabitants (2006).
The town, first mentioned in 1026, is located on the regional road P-02 in Vyshhorod Rajon ( Kiev Oblast ) 35 km north of Kiev . Demydow located on the left bank of Irpin near its confluence with the the Kiev Sea pent- Dnepr between Dymer in the north and Ljutisch in the south.
