Michael Kelly (actor)
Michael Joseph Kelly (born May 22, 1969 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .
biography
Kelly's mother Maureen is of Italian descent and his father is the descendant of an emigrant from the Irish city of Donegal . He grew up in Lawrenceville , Georgia with two sisters and one brother. He attended Brookwood High School and then studied at the Coastal Carolina University in Conway , South Carolina , where he initially Jura wanted to study, but then the Acting changed. He is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio and lives and works in New York .
Kelly gained greater fame mainly through various roles on television. He was in 2011 to star in the short-lived Criminal Minds - offshoot Criminal Minds: Team Red to see. He also had a recurring role in the television series Person of Interest from 2011 to 2013 . From 2013 to 2018 he was a leading actor on the Netflix television series House of Cards . There he played alongside Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright as the loyal Chief of Staff Doug Stamper .
