Tony Hale
Tony Hale (born September 30, 1970 in West Point , New York ) is an American actor and two-time Emmy Award winner.
Life
Hale was born in West Point (New York) and grew up in Tallahassee ( Florida on), where he developed the Young Actors Theater attended and participated in numerous theater productions. In 1992 he graduated from Samford University in Alabama . He then attended Regent University in Virginia until 1994 .
He made his acting debut in 1995 in the television film The Least of These . This was followed by other small roles in films and guest appearances in Dawson's Creek , The Sopranos and Sex and the City . His breakthrough as an actor came in the television series Arrested Development, which was broadcast from 2003 to 2006 . In May 2013, the series returned to the video-on-demand provider Netflix for 15 new episodes in which he took up his role again. In 2006 he played a role in Marc Forster's Weird as fiction alongside Will Ferrell and Maggie Gyllenhaal . In 2007 he played in the regular cast of the television series Andy Barker, PI as Simon , the series came on six episodes. From 2008 to 2010, he had a recurring role on the television series Chuck as Emmett Milbarge . For his role as Assistant to the US Vice President in the HBO comedy series Veep , he received the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2013 and 2015 .
Hale has been married to Martel Thompson since 2003 . The couple has one child.
