Yoga Hosers is an American horror comedy directed by Kevin Smith that premiered on January 24, 2016 at the Sundance Film Festival . The film was released in US cinemas on September 2, 2016.

15-year-old girls Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie live in Winnipeg, Canada and are normal teenagers who are mostly interested in their smartphones, boys and music. After school, they regularly attend yoga classes and work at the checkout of a small supermarket. In the history class, the teacher tells them about Adrien Arcand , one of the leading Canadian National Socialists in the early 1940s, and his supporter Andronicus Arcane, who has disappeared since the end of the Second World War.
When the two have to work in the supermarket one night again, they invite two older classmates to have a party with them. However, the boys are satanists and plan to sacrifice the two colleens. But it doesn't come to that, because suddenly the "Bratzis", little monsters in the form of sausages in National Socialist uniforms appear and kill the boys. The girls manage to defeat the Bratzis using yoga movements. However, the arriving police arrest her for murder because they do not believe her story.
The bounty hunter Guy Lapointe believes the girls and frees them from police custody. Back in the supermarket, they are attacked again by the Bratzis and knocked out. When they wake up, they find themselves in the underground hiding place of Andronicus Arcane, directly below the supermarket. He says that he started an experiment in 1945 with which he wanted to breed an army of clones from bratwurst, sauerkraut and his own DNA . With this army Arcane wanted to destroy all Canadian art critics, as he was repeatedly laughed at by them at a young age. The experiment was supposed to take 100 years, but was stopped after 70 years by a power outage caused by the Colleens. As a result, the Bratzis, instead of big fighters, are still the size of normal sausages.
With the help of the Bratzis, Arcane activates his second creation, a huge golem , which, however, does not embark on the extermination campaign against the art critics ordered by Arcane, but first kills Arcane himself and then attacks the girls and Guy Lapointe. The three manage to defeat the golem together, and the Colleens use their yoga skills again.

The film received mostly mixed to negative reviews. Bilge Ebiri from vulture.com says of the film: “ Yoga Hosers is the best movie Kevin Smith has made in a long time, even if it doesn't mean a lot. But this new cult comedy thriller can also represent a turning point for the author and director. ”The editorial staff of Cinema.de rated the gags as“ underground ”, the plot as“ totally absurd ”, the music as“ annoying ”and pulling the conclusion: "Not even nice to drink". Oliver Armknecht attests to Yoga Hosers on the website film-rezensions.de to be "a little better" than its predecessor, but in the end the film is "too busy with humor and calculated provocations to actually be fun". Christian Horn describes the film on filmstarts.de as "quirky teenage Nazi trash", in which the two main actresses are convincing, but which "between slack Canada jokes and half-baked Nazi jokes never really get going" comes.
