Fantasy Film Festival 2016

The 30th Fantasy Filmfest took place between August 17 and September 18, 2016 for one week each in the cities of Berlin , Nuremberg , Frankfurt , Hamburg , Cologne , Stuttgart and Munich . The online portal Filmstarts was the official media partner of the film festival for the first time in 2016. The Indian thriller Psycho Raman was the centerpiece at the Fantasy Filmfest 2016. Fresh Blood films such as The Greasy Strangler , Scare Campaign and Los Parecidos , but also films from the Official Selection such as Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV and The Girl with All the Gifts have at Fantasy Filmfest 2016 celebrated its German premiere.

The 14th Fantasy Filmfest Nights took place from April 2nd to 17th, 2016 in the festival cities. During this time, films such as Green Room , High-Rise , The Lobster: An Unconventional Love Story and The Witch were shown, which only later officially came into German cinemas.
