Natasha Lyonne (born April 4, 1979 in New York City ; actually Natasha Bianca Braunstein ) is an American actress .

Career

Lyonne became known for her roles in the first two parts of the teenage film series American Pie . In addition to youth films , including Scary Movie 2 , she was featured in Woody Allen in All Say - I Love You , the episode film Women love Women and the independent films Because I'm a Girl and Mainly Beverly Hills . For her leading role in this coming-of-age film , she was nominated for the 1999 Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Most Promising Actress.

Lyonne repeatedly made headlines with personal problems. For example, she was found guilty of driving while intoxicated by a court after she had caused a traffic accident in August 2001 and hit the road .
