Tyler Garcia Posey (born October 18, 1991 in Santa Monica , California ) is an American actor and musician .

life and career

Posey was born in Santa Monica to actor John Posey and his wife Cyndi Garcia. He grew up in Santa Clarita and has two brothers and a sister. He attended Hart High School in Santa Clarita.

From 2001 to 2004 he played the role of Raul Garcia in the series Doc . In 2002 he played alongside Jennifer Lopez, her son Ty Ventura, in Manhattan Love Story . In 2005 he played the young Abe Wheeler in the multi-part series Into the West . Between 2006 and 2007 he played the supporting role of Gabriel Whedon in Brothers & Sisters .

He also had guest appearances on Without a Trace , Smallville and Sue Thomas: FBI In 2011 he got the lead role of Scott McCall in the MTV series Teen Wolf , which he continued to play until the end of the series.

He is the front man of the band Lost In Kostko , in which he sings and plays the guitar. From 2003 to 2014 he was in a relationship with the makeup artist Seana Gorlick, to whom he became engaged in July 2013. However, the couple split in mid-2014.
