history

From January 1, 1939 to July 25, 1952, the Amtshauptmannschaft Flöha was referred to as Landkreis Flöha . It was dissolved during the district reform in 1952 and became the smaller district of Flöha .

The district from 1990 to 1994

history

On May 17, 1990, a law passed the Flöha district into the Flöha district. On January 1, 1994, the community of Altenhain resigned after being incorporated into Frankenberg in the district of Hainichen . The community of Dittmannsdorf left on March 1, 1994 by incorporation into Gornau in the district of Zschopau . During the district reform on August 1, 1994 , most of the district became part of the Freiberg district . The municipalities of Borstendorf and Grünhainichen moved to the Middle Ore Mountains District , while the municipality of Mühlbach was assigned to the new Mittweida district .
