Administrative headquarters

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In administrative law , the administrative seat describes the place from which the area to be administered (the so-called administrative district ) is administered. The administrative headquarters regularly have a special infrastructure . In contrast to other states in the German organizational system, this is not to be understood as being tied to a particular form of administration such as a district or municipality . Depending on the shape of the area, either the largest location in this area or a location that is as central as possible is usually chosen in order to optimally implement the infrastructural measures.
