history

The form of settlement as a Waldhufendorf suggests a planned settlement by German settlers who probably arrived in the 12th century. Documentary mentions can be found in 1370 as Hartirsdorf , 1376 as Harttirsdorf and 1378 as Hartirstorf . An addition to the name to differentiate it from Großhartmannsdorf can be proven in writing for the 15th century, for example in documents from 1408 as Cleyne Hartterstorff , 1474 as Kleine Hartirßdorf and 1495 as Hartmanßdorff Minor .

The Kleinhartmannsdorf Church was probably built before the Reformation . It was originally a branch church of the Eppendorfer Church, of which it is now a sister church .

For a long time, Kleinhartmannsdorf was the administrative village of the Augustusburg Office (formerly Schellenberg) and was subordinated to the Freiberg Office in the 19th century . After the Second World War , the comprehensive administrative reform of the GDR resulted in the newly founded Flöha district , whose core area was opened up in the Freiberg district during the first Saxon district reform in 1994 and with the second reform in 2008 in the central Saxony district.
