Lin Tucci

Lin Tucci (* 8. February 1960 in Winthrop , Massachusetts as Linda Petrucci ) is an American actress .

Life

Lin Tucci grew up with her two siblings in Federal Hill, Providence , Rhode Island . Her father died when she was three years old. She attended Mount Pleasant High School and the Community College of Rhode Island. She then obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from the Boston Conservatory. She currently lives in New York City .

Act

She made her film debut in 1995 in the film Showgirls by Paul Verhoeven , in the role of Henrietta Bazoom . For this role, she was nominated for the Golden Raspberry in 1996 in the worst supporting actress category. In addition, she appears in the theater and can be seen in various commercials.

Lin Tucci has been in the role of Anita DeMarco for the Netflix web series Orange Is the New Black since 2013 . In 2015 she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series together with numerous members of the main cast of Orange Is The New Black.
