Active health - Anthroposophical healing art e. V. is a nationwide association based in Berlin , which deals with health issues from the perspective of an anthroposophical worldview . Around 8,000 private individuals and around 100 organizations are members of the association. It is financed through membership fees, donations and the sale of publications. The managing director is the pediatrician and health economist Stefan Schmidt-Troschke. The association is registered in the register of associations of the Berlin-Charlottenburg district court under the association register number VR 31743 B.
history
In 1952 the association was founded by the anthroposophically oriented doctor Walther Bühler together with Hartmut Vogel and Wilma Leimann under the name “Association for an extended healing being e. V. ”was founded in Unterlengenhardt. The aim of founding the association was to promote medicine on an anthroposophical basis. The association published a number of publications on clinical pictures and areas of life.
In 2002 the association was incorporated into HEALTH ACTIVE - Anthroposophical Healing Art e. V. renamed. In 2012 he moved to his new headquarters in Berlin. At the same time, the management was newly appointed.
activities
The association has its own book publisher. He also publishes the magazine Gesundheit aktiv - Das Magazin (formerly point ) quarterly with a print run of 14,000 copies. It focuses on health policy issues and addresses questions about humanistic and salutogenetic medicine. In addition, the association provides suggestions and advice on health promotion and organizes lectures, conferences, prevention courses and workshops on health topics.
