Kunal Nayyar
Kunal Nayyar ( Devanagari : कुणाल नय्यर ; born April 30, 1981 in London ) is a British actor of Indian descent.
Life and accomplishments
Nayyar was born in London and grew up in New Delhi . After high school , he went to the United States , where he studied finance at the University of Portland and acting at Temple University in Philadelphia . From a young age Nayyar took part in musicals and plays, and in 2004 he got his first supporting role in the feature film SCIENCE . From 2007 to 2019 he played as Dr. Rajesh Koothrappali starred in the Chuck Lorre- produced sitcom The Big Bang Theory . In 2012 he was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award (Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series).
From February 25 to 27, 2015, he hosted the Late Late Show as a guest host .
Nayyar has been married to Miss India 2006 , Neha Kapur , since December 23, 2011 .
