Michel Gill (born April 16, 1960 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

Michel Gill was born in New York City. He studied at Aiglon College, a renowned boarding school in Switzerland, attended Tufts University and then moved to the Juilliard School , where he graduated in 1985. Gill is married to actress Jayne Atkinson .

Gill had his breakthrough with the recurring role as US President Garrett Walker in the Netflix series House of Cards (2013-2016). From 2015 to 2017 he had a recurring supporting role as Gideon Goddard in the cable series Mr. Robot .
