Raza Jaffrey

Raza Jaffrey (born May 28, 1975 in Liverpool , England ) is a British - Indian actor .

life and career

Jaffrey appears in film and television, having previously played successfully in the theater. He gained fame primarily through his role in the television series Spooks - In the sights of MI5 . In the cinema he was seen in Deadly Promises - Eastern Promises and Sex and the City 2, among others. In 2014 he took on the role of Aasar Khan in the award-winning US series Homeland . In the first season of the hospital series Code Black , he was seen as a doctor. In Elementary , he was Dr. Joan Watson ( Lucy Liu ). In 2019, he played an FBI agent on The Enemy Within, alongside Jennifer Carpenter and Morris Chestnut .

From 2007 to 2009 he was married to his fellow actress Miranda Raison . He has been in a relationship with actress Lara Pulver since 2013 . They became parents to a son in February 2017 after getting married in December 2014.
