Melissa Ivy Rauch (born June 23, 1980 in Marlboro, New Jersey ) is an American actress .

biography

Melissa Rauch is the daughter of Susan and David Rauch. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from Marymount Manhattan College .

During her acting studies, she performed as a stand-up comedian in New York , also with her own solo program. She became known to a wider audience from 2009 through the role of Bernadette Rostenkowski in the series The Big Bang Theory ; since the fourth season she has been shown as the leading actress. In 2011 she was in the stage program The Realest Real Housewives ( German The realest real housewives ).

Private life

Melissa Rauch is married to screenwriter Winston Beigel , who adopted her name. Their daughter was born in December 2017. Rauch is of Jewish faith . In May 2020, she announced the birth of her second child, a son.
