Kevin Doyle (actor)

Kevin Doyle (born 1961 in Scunthorpe , Lincolnshire , United Kingdom ) is a British actor. He is known from some BBC series. These include Holby City and Drop Dead Gorgeous . In German-speaking television he was best known for the series Downton Abbey , in which he first played the servant, later worker Joseph Molesley . In the series Death in Paradise , he played a supporting role as a sound engineer in the 7th season.

Doyle also works as a stage actor. For example, he participated in the performances of The White Guard and Mutabilitie at the National Theater and in ten plays by the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). Among other things, he played Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the RSC, directed by Adrian Noble (also made into a film with Doyle in 1996) and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet , staged by David Leveaux.
