Morêtel-de-Maille is a former French community with 475 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Haut-Grésivaudan . The inhabitants are called Moretelins .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the communes of Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard and Morêtel-de-Mailles were merged into a commune nouvelle called Crêts en Belledonne .
