Pinsot is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Le Haut-Bréda with 168 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The inhabitants are called Pinsotins .
On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Pinsot merged with La Ferrière to form the Commune nouvelle Le Haut-Bréda. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the Canton of Haut-Grésivaudan (until 2015: Canton Allevard ).
geography
Pinsot is located in Grésivaudan on the upper reaches of the Bréda river . The municipality of Pinsot was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Allevard in the north and northeast, Saint-Alban-des-Villards in the east, Saint-Colomban-des-Villards in the southeast, La Ferrière in the south and Crêts en Belledonne in the west.
