Sri Lankan national cricket team against Pakistan in 2017/18 season

The Sri Lankan national cricket team's tour against Pakistan in the 2017/18 season took place in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan from September 28 to October 29, 2017 . The international cricket tour was part of the 2017/18 international cricket season and included two tests , five ODIs and three Twenty20s . Sri Lanka won the Test series 2–0, Pakistan won the ODI series 5–0 and the Twenty20 series 3–0.

prehistory

Pakistan previously played a tour against a world team , for Sri Lanka it is the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 2015 season in Sri Lanka . The third Twenty20 took place in Pakistan, the first time Sri Lanka has played on Pakistani soil since the attack on Sri Lanka's cricket team in Lahore in 2009.

Sri Lanka named its test roster on September 20, its ODI roster on October 4, and its Twenty20 roster on October 25, 2017. Pakistan named its test roster on September 23 and its ODI roster on October 6 2017.
