Sainte-Colombe is a French commune in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Serres in the Gap arrondissement .

geography

Sainte-Colombe is located in the valley of the Céans (tributary of the Buëch ) and at the foot of the Montagne de Chabre ridge and borders Orpierre to the northeast, Barret-sur-Méouge to the southeast, Ballons to the south, and Izon-la-Bruisse to the southwest , to the west with Laborel and to the north-west with Étoile-Saint-Cyrice . The village center is 1150  m above sea level , and the hamlets of Bégües ( 750  m ) and Les Catoyes ( 700  m ) also belong to the municipality .
