Laborel is a place and a community with 102 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the southern French region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nyons and the canton of Nyons et Baronnies (until 2015 Séderon ). The inhabitants are called Laborellois .

Laborel is about 60 kilometers northeast of Avignon . Laborel is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Villebois-les-Pins in the north, Étoile-Saint-Cyrice in the northeast, Sainte-Colombe in the east, Izon-la-Bruisse in the south, Montauban-sur-l'Ouvèze in the west and Chauvac-Laux- Montaux in the northwest.
