The inhabitants are called Cléonnais .

Cléon-d'Andran is located around 35 kilometers south-southeast of Valence . The municipality is bounded in the south by the Roubion . Cléon-d'Andran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roynac in the north, Puy-Saint-Martin in the east and northeast, Charols in the southeast, La Bégude-de-Mazenc in the south, Saint-Gervais-sur-Roubion in the southwest and Marsanne in the west and northwest.
