Montfroc is a place and a community with a population of 75 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Drôme in the southern French region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nyons and the canton of Nyons et Baronnies (until 2015 Séderon ). The inhabitants are called Montfrocois .

location

Montfroc is about 45 kilometers east-northeast of Avignon on the Jabron . Montfroc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lachau in the north and northeast, Curel in the east, Châteauneuf-Miravail in the southeast, La Rochegiron in the south, Redortiers in the south and southwest, Les Omergues in the west and Eygalayes in the northwest.
