The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nyons and the canton of Nyons et Baronnies (until 2015 Séderon ).

Eygalayes is located about 45 kilometers east-northeast of Avignon on the Méouge . Eygalayes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Izon-la-Bruisse in the north, Ballons in the northeast, Lachau in the east, Montfroc in the southeast, Les Omergues in the south, Séderon in the west and southwest and Vers-sur-Méouge in the northwest.
