Verclause ( Occitan : Verclausa ) is a place and a community with a population of 59 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Drôme in the southern French region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). Verclause is part of the Nyons arrondissement and the Nyons et Baronnies canton ( Rémuzat until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Verclausiens .

location

Verclause is about 75 kilometers southeast of Valence am Eygues . Verclause is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cornillac in the north, Rosans in the east, Lemps in the south, Bellecombe-Tarendol in the south-west, Pelonne in the west and south-west and Rémuzat in the west.
