La Laupie is a French municipality with 756 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Nyons and the canton of Dieulefit (until 2015 Marsanne ). The inhabitants are called Laupiards .

La Laupie is located around 30 kilometers south of Valence on the Roubion . La Laupie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marsanne in the north and east, Bonlieu-sur-Roubion in the south and south-east, Sauzet in the south and west and Condillac in the north-west.
