history

The first communauté d'agglomération in the Montélimar area, the Montélimar-Sésame , came into being on January 1, 2000 with a total of 15 member communities. On January 1, 2014, it was swallowed up by the neighboring Communauté de communes du Pays de Marsanne, consisting of ten communities around Marsanne , which had been founded in 1992. The thus expanded association took on the name Montélimar Agglomération .
