The Communauté de communes Dieulefit-Bourdeaux is a French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the southern half of the Département Drôme , the administrative seat of which is in the eponymous town of Dieulefit . The community association consists of 21 parishes on an area of ​​370.2 km ² , its president is Jean-Marc Audergon.

history

The Communauté de communes du Pays de Dieulefit , founded on December 28, 1992, initially corresponded to the canton Dieulefit with 15 municipalities. Manas was temporarily the 16th member community until it switched to the newly founded Communauté d'agglomération Montélimar-Agglomération on January 1, 2014 . On the same date, six other municipalities from the then canton of Bourdeaux were added: Bézaudun-sur-Bîne , Bourdeaux , Bouvières , Crupies , Les Tonils and Truinas . In early 2015, the association changed its name to Dieulefit-Bourdeaux .

tasks

The competencies required include the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association determines the housing policy and operates the garbage collection and disposal. In addition, the association builds and maintains cultural institutions and promotes events in the fields of culture and sport.
