geography
Savasse is located in the metropolitan area around five kilometers north of Montélimar on the left bank of the Rhône on the border with the neighboring Ardèche department . The Roubion River runs along the southeastern municipal boundary . Neighboring communities are:
- La Coucourde in the north,
- Condillac in the northeast,
- Sauzet and Saint-Marcel-lès-Sauzet in the east,
- Montélimar in the south,
- Rochemaure in the southwest (Ardèche) and
- Meysse in the west (Ardèche department).
