The Arrondissement Nyons is an administrative unit of the French departments of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The administrative seat ( sub-prefecture ) is Nyons . With effect from February 1, 2006, the cantons Dieulefit, Marsanne, Montélimar-1 and Montélimar-2 moved from the Arrondissement of Valence to the Arrondissement of Nyons as part of an administrative reform.
It consists of 6 cantons and 149 municipalities.

Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the six municipalities of Bézaudun-sur-Bîne , Bourdeaux , Bouvières , Crupies , Les Tonils and Truinas from the Arrondissement Die and the municipality Saulce-sur-Rhône from the Arrondissement Valence were assigned to the Arrondissement Nyons.
