Vercoiran is a place and a community with 141 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Drôme in the southern French region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nyons and the canton of Nyons et Baronnies (until 2015 Buis-les-Baronnies ). The inhabitants are called Vercoiranais .

Vercoiran is about sixty kilometers northeast of Avignon . Vercoiran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bésignan in the north, Sainte-Euphémie-sur-Ouvèze in the east, La Rochette-du-Buis in the south-east and Buis-les-Baronnies in the west and south-west.
