Rioms is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montguers in the north, Montauban-sur-l'Ouvèze in the east and northeast, Mévouillon in the south and southeast, La Rochette-du-Buis in the south and southwest and Saint-Auban-sur-l'Ouvèze in the west and northwest.
