Montguers is about 60 kilometers northeast of Avignon . The Ouvèze limits the municipality to the south. Montguers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roussieux in the north, Montauban-sur-l'Ouvèze in the east and southeast, Rioms in the south and Saint-Auban-sur-l'Ouvèze in the west.
