The Jabron is a mountain river in France that runs through the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions. It rises in the municipality of Les Omergues , generally drains in an easterly direction and flows into the Durance as a right tributary after 36 kilometers just south of Sisteron . On its way, the Jabron mainly crosses the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department , only at Montfroc does it enter the Drôme department of the neighboring Rhône-Alpes region over a length of about one kilometer .
