The Route nationale 517 (abbreviation: N 517 , also RN 517 ) was a French national road from 1933 to 1973 , which ran between Lyon and Morestel. Their length was 57.5 kilometers. In 1978 the N7 was routed to the east around Lambesc and in this context the local passage was renamed the N517. In 1990 this was downgraded to D917.
