The N600 was a French national road that was laid in three parts in 1933 between Raulhac and the N9 north of Marvejols. Their total length was 97 kilometers. In 1937 it got a new route between Laguiole and Aubrac and the old one became the D15. The N600 road was shortened by 2.5 kilometers, but the section of the N587 that interrupted it became larger. In 1966 it was extended by 12.5 kilometers south of Marvejols from the N9 branching off to the N88 east of Chanac. This extension was renumbered N108 in 1973 and downgraded in 2006. The remaining part was graduated as early as 1973.
