The N501 was a French national road that ran from 1933 to 1973 between the N82 southeast of Saint-Étienne and Montfaucon-en-Velay . Their length was 33.5 kilometers. From 1978 to 2006 the number N501 was used for a side branch of the N201 in Annecy, which led to the N508 and the N1508. Today it bears the number D1501.
