The N505 was a French national road from 1933 to 1973 , which ran from the N203 near today's exit 15 of the A40 to the Swiss border at Annemasse . Their length was 12 kilometers. In 1978 the road became part of the new route of the N205. From 2000 to 2006 the number was used for a side branch of the N105 to the N6 in Melun . Today it bears the number D606.

N505a

The N505 A was a branch of the N505 from 1956 to 1973, which ran within Annemasse to the N206. Today it bears the number D905 A (Rue de Geneve).
