The Route nationale 656 , N 656 for short or RN 656 , was a French national road that ran from 1933 to 1973 between an intersection with the former national route 653 southwest of Cahors and an intersection with the national route 626 near Cazaubon . Their length was 149.5 kilometers. Since 2004, the section between Gabarret and Cazaubon has been signposted again as a national road and forms part of the Itinéraire à Grand Gabarit .
