Tournon-d'Agenais ( Occitan : Tornon d'Agenés ) is a municipality with 761 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2016: Aquitaine ). Tournon-d'Agenais belongs to the arrondissement of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and the canton of Le Fumélois (until 2015: canton of Tournon-d'Agenais ). The inhabitants are called Tournonnais .

Tournon-d'Agenais is about 23 kilometers east of Villeneuve-sur-Lot . Tournon-d'Agenais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bourlens in the north, Thézac in the north-east, Masquières in the east, Courbiac in the south-east, Montaigu-de-Quercy in the south, Anthé in the west and south-west and Cazideroque in the west and north-west.
history
The Bastide of Tournon-d'Agenais was in 1271 by Philip III. founded. In 1580 the village was destroyed by the Huguenots.
