Saint-Georges belongs to the arrondissement of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and the canton of Le Fumélois (until 2015: canton of Tournon-d'Agenais ).

The Lot River forms the western limit of the commune of Saint-Georges. Saint-Georges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vite in the north, Montayral in the northeast, Bourlens in the east and southeast, Cazideroque in the south, Trémons in the southwest and Trentels in the west.
